How the totals are handled
The site counts invoice references INVAM401, INVAM409, INVAM416, INVAM419, INVAM424, INVAM427, INVAM430 and INVAM439 once each. Bristol City Council Finance confirmed that INVAM439 was entered on the ledger twice, but the second entry was reversed before payment. The totals therefore count the invoice once.
Explicit expenses are the Ibis meeting room, train tickets, and December/January dictation and transcription charges. Other invoice lines may include administrative work, travel time or bundled activity, but they are not treated as expenses unless the invoice itself labels them that way.
Timeline descriptions are transcribed from the invoice description fields rather than rewritten into plain English. Apparent errors or abbreviations in the source are retained so that the webpage can be checked directly against the PDFs.
